Designed for senior students - this course assists in planning, writing and editing essays.
Objectives
To provide a step-by-step approach to help you understand the specific requirements of essay writing, from reading and interpreting the question through to the final draft.

You will cover:
- How to correctly interpret the question
- The structure and organisation of an essay
- How to ’brainstorm’ Task words and key words
- Sequencing and linking
- How to plan (introduction, body and conclusion)
- Importance of punctuation, style and vocabulary
- Efficient use of time available
- Analysis of different essay types
This is a practical course where you get a chance to apply your new skills.
You can attend an after school optional program at many high schools throughout Australia, or one of our many school holiday programs. In-school programs are also available.
All Participants receive a Certificate of Achievement.
